Weil es mir beim Überfliegen gerade aufgefallen ist: Die pauschale 20%-Regel ist nicht mehr wirklich aktuell. Das sollte man sowohl in der Deutschen als auch der englischen Version anpassen.

26.1 If you don't want to do raw feeding all the time, you can do raw feeding 20 percent of the weekly demands. The flesh (Raw meat) needs to be chewed and (which) helps with the dental cleaning.

Am Rande da ich die Übersetzung mal überflogen bin: so förmlich muss das nicht sein. Is ja kein wissenschaftlicher Text für ne Hausarbeit. Also lieber im simple Englisc halten, dann ist es auch für die Nachbarn (und andere Leser) eher verständlich

Übersetzten kann man es ja eh nich 1:1 ^^

Danke für die Rückmeldung, ich glaube, teils liegt das mit daran, dass ich manche Wörter nicht auf englisch wusste und dann nachschauen musste und nicht wusste, welche Wörter sind nun mehr für den Umgang und welche Fachbegriffe und so. Aber ja, ich tendiere dazu, eher sehr fachlich zu schreiben. Wenn du mir da konkrete Beispiele geben kannst, werde ich da natürlich auch nochmals drüber.

Ich habe mir auch schon häufig gedacht, dass die Liste mal wieder ein kleines Update gebrauchen könnte. Immerhin ist sie schon 11 Jahre alt und stellenweise auch nicht mehr ganz aktuell bzw. sollten manche Punkte einfach deutlicher hervorgehoben werden.

Da auch nach einer Übersetzung auf Türkisch gefragt wurde, denke ich dass auch English eine Fremdsprache für die Nachbarn ist. Von daher ist sowas wie cat toilet und food bowl auch gut verständlich

Schade, zu spät gesehen.

Man kann ja auch den gebräuchlichen, korrekten Ausdruck wählen, z.B. litter box, (Streu ist cat litter) und den einfacheren in Klammern dazusetzen. Sollte jemand vom Englischen in eine Drittsprache übersetzen wollen, ist es einfacher, man hat die korrekten Begriffe.

Die Idee finde ich auch toll!

Aber warum macht Ihr das nicht über/mit dem Google Translator? Mit dem kann man sehr viele verschiedene Sprachen übersetzen, darunter auch Türkisch.

- Ihr müsst den deutschen Text im Begrüssungspäckchen-Thread nur markieren,

- im Google Translator die Übersetzungsrichtung korrekt einstellen (hier also Deutsch - Türkisch),

- dann mittels Copy & Paste bzw. Kopieren & Einfügen den zuvor markierten deutschen Text einfügen,

- und schon wird im rechten Teil die türkische Übersetzung angezeigt.

Wenn Ihr sichergehen möchtet, dass der neue türkische Text für türkische Muttersprachler auch verständlich und nachvollziehbar ist, dann müsstet Ihr diesen Text einer Türkin oder einem Türken (der Deutsch spricht und versteht) zeigen. Sie/er kann Euch anhand ihrer/seiner Korrekturen dann den endgültigen, korrekten, Text geben. Bestimmt haben einige von Euch türkische Freunde, Bekannte oder vielleicht sogar Verwandte im Umkreis?

Die korrekte Übersetzung müsst Ihr dann nur noch ebenfalls mit Copy & Paste in den neuen, noch zu erstellenden, türkischsprachigen Begrüssungspäckchen-Thread einfügen.

Ich habe den obersten Teil (von "Ein freundliches Hallo..." bis und mit "9. Ältere Katzen können manchmal Einzelkatzen...") mal versuchsweise mit dem Google Translator übersetzt. Sieht so aus wie nachfolgend:

Sieht doch ganz gut aus, oder? Da ich nicht türkischer Muttersprachler bin, müsste man den Text noch einer Türkin/einem Türken zur Korrektur zeigen.

Zur Übersetzung nehme ich übrigens die Seite translate.google.de, NICHT etwa translate.google.ch (Schweizer Seite) oder eine andere Domain. Ich habe festgestellt, dass die einzelnen Google Translator-Übersetzungsseiten je nach Domain unterschiedliche Ergebnisse liefern, warum auch immer . Die deutsche (.de) finde ich die Genaueste (habe die Versuche jeweils mit Englisch - Deutsch gemacht, da ich mit Englisch fast genauso wenig Probleme habe wie mit Deutsch).

Bitte diesen meinen Beitrag nicht etwa als Besserwisserei verstehen! So ist's nicht gemeint! Soll nur eine Hilfestellung sein.

Natürlich sieht eine Google-Übersetzung immer gut aus, wenn man die Sprache nicht kann.
Oft ist es weniger aufwendig/schneller, es gleich selbst zu übersetzen als jemanden über das Google-Resultat "kurz drüberschauen zu lassen".

Was da teilweiße rauskommt ist echt nicht zu gebrauchen, und sorgt nur für Missverständnisse durch Satzbau und Wortwahl

Was da teilweiße rauskommt ist echt nicht zu gebrauchen, und sorgt nur für Missverständnisse durch Satzbau und Wortwahl

(Ich hätte mich hier auch eingebracht, habe aber gerade jobmäßig - zum Glück - relativ viel um die Ohren und habe es daher nicht geschafft. Aber Hut ab an alle, die sich beteiligt haben! )

Also ich muss sagen, auch wenn es doch herausfordernd war, es war irgendwie ganz schön, Mal wieder ein wenig was auf englisch zu machen Ich brauche das nämlich seit der Schulzeit nicht mehr und lese einfach alles auf englisch und schaue auf englisch Filme um nicht komplett aus der Übung zu kommen.
