Rohascheanteil in Applaws

Ich suche immer noch nach einem besseren TroFu als Leckerchen für meine beiden; weil ich "clickere" kommt da schon etwas zusammen am Tag. Mittlerweile bin ich bei Applaws angekommen und finde es auch sehr gut, aber liegt der Rohascheanteil nicht etwas sehr hoch? (9,9%)
Sonst sind es doch immer um die 6-7% 😕

Über antworten würde ich mich sehr freuen.

Please in the interests of the welfare of cats I want to share this with you. Our experiences with this food in which I am legally entitled to do - I see it is going international now.
Please visit my webpage for a rather thrown together article at present.It is being added to when I have time but the important points are there. I have recieved numerous complaints from people all over the UK about this food and their cats falling ill. Also complaints from people in Europe.

If anyone has this food and experienced vomiting and diarrhoea - food refusal - head trmours - unexpecting heart murmurs - liver and kidney issues that have come out the blue and also suspected FIP rapid weight loss - jaundice and any other unusual illness please have the food tested for Mycotoxins and Melamine.Please do not mis the food with another just to use it up - if your cat will not eat it it is because they know better!
Keep the food keep the original sack and keep any unopened bags also. Ask your trading Standards department or your countries equivalent to test the food.

These toxins have been found in the food I purchased by the Trading Standards department. It made my cats extremely ill - some fataly so - other people have had the same things happen to their cats.

Vets - although familiar with Mycotoxins in livestock feeds are not suspecting of these in cat foods, afterall we all expect these foods to be safe - also dont be fooled by 'cereal free so no mycotoxins' - we found it - and mycotoxins are actually in cereal by products.

The company are well aware of the findings but appear to be unmoved!!

Please be aware - of the most lethal mycotoxins T2 and HT2 - please do not let your children near this food. Cats cannot flush these out as well as humans and other mammals can. I have researched this topic well and have many scientific papers here. I have spoken to three Veterinary toxicologists and a veterinary pathologist as well as the European Commission and food standards agencies. I am in the process of getting this matter addressed.

*Uff* Englisch ist leider nicht mein Ding u. mich würde auch interessieren, was da steht. Kann das jemand vielleicht übersetzen. Mir würde eine grobe Übersetzung auch schon ausreichen!

Ich habe mir kürzl. eine Probepackung v. 400g von dem Applaws-TroFu bei Zooplus bestellt. Mein Problem dabei ist, daß sich die TroFu-Stückchen so fettig u. pappig anfühlen. Kann es sein, daß sie viel Fett enthalten? Nehmen die Katzen darauf auch an Gewicht zu? Weiß das vill jemand? 😕😕

Das TroFu wird bei mir auch nur als Leckerli bzw. f. Futterspielchen verwendet!

Gwion: Versteh nicht wirklich was du mit deiner Aussage meinst.

Dieser Text wurde von einer englischen Rassekatzenzüchterin verfasst. Sie und viele andere Züchter dort haben schlechte Erfahrungen mit diesem Trockenfutter gemacht. Sie gibt ja ihre Homepage mit an, auf der man die Angelegenheit weiter verfolgen kann. Soweit ich das verstanden habe, ließen die Zücher das Futter testen und es wurden Mycotoxine-Rückstoffe festgestellt.

Das war eine Eigenintiative von englischen Züchtern, die ihre Erfahrungen netterweise an deutsche Züchter weitergeleitet haben. Das kannst du auch sonst offiziell nicht nachlesen.

Was du nun daraus schließt, sei dir überlassen - wollte diese Info einfach nur gern weitergeben. Also ich brauch kein offizielles Statemant um da auf Nummer sicher zugehn.

ich denke Gwion ist mißtrauisch dass diese Meldung nur von einer Züchterin veröffentlicht wurde.

Normalerweise breiten sich Futterskandale wie Lauffeuer aus. Gehen durch viele Medien.

Da ich selber Applaws als Leckerchen verfüttere las ich diesen Artikel vor Wochen auch recht erschrocken, finde aber seither keine vernünftigen Informationen mehr. Kam jetzt zu dem Entschluß mich von einem Bericht nicht hysterisch machen zu lassen und füttere es weiter.

Somit zu der Ausgangsfrage, wie ist es jetzt mit dem Rohascheanteil?

Felidae getreidefrei gibts bei cats country. Ich habe gehört, dass andere shops ein anderes Futter unter dem selben Namen verkaufen, deshalb bestelle ich immer dort.
Wie ist es den nun mit dem Rohascheanteil in applaws?

Ich habe mir kürzl. eine Probepackung v. 400g von dem Applaws-TroFu bei Zooplus bestellt. Mein Problem dabei ist, daß sich die TroFu-Stückchen so fettig u. pappig anfühlen. Kann es sein, daß sie viel Fett enthalten? Nehmen die Katzen darauf auch an Gewicht zu? Weiß das vill jemand? 😕😕

Jedes Trofu wird nach dem Trocknen mit Öl besprüht. Das soll die Bröselichkeit etwas vermindern und gleichzeitig wird mit dem Öl noch ein Duft mitgesprüht, der das Geheimnis der Hersteller ist.
Gegen Öl allgemein ist sicher nichts einzuwenden, aber es kommt wie immer auf die Güte an. Daß dieses Öl aber sehr schnell ranzig werden kann und somit eher nicht mehr vollwertig ist, ist leider eine Tatsache.
Wenn man Trofu tiefkühlt, kann der Oxidation etwas vorgebeugt werden.

Die geheimnisvollen Lockstoff-Düfte halte ich für ein Gerücht.
Fett allein macht das Futter für Katzen schon anziehender.

Ich habe mal google bemüht und das hier gefunden:

Das hieße also, dass der Rohascheanteil zu hoch ist. Bezieht sich daswohl auf TroFu oder auf NaFu? Bei TroFu habe ich wesentlich höhere Werte gefunnden als beim Nafu.
In "meinem" Felidae getreidefrei sind auch 8% Rohasche. Na ja, die Futterhersteller werden schon wissen was sie tun.

Wenn du Nährstoffe von Naß- und Trockenfutter vergleichen willst, mußt du alles auf die Trockensubstanz umrechnen.

nee, ich meinte das jetzt eher auf die Ausgewogenheit bezogen. Da gibt's ja ständig Tests und Proben. Bei der Zusammensetzung verlasse ich mich nicht wirklich darauf 🙂

Im Ernst: Ich jedenfalls habe beschlossen, daß Applaws TroFu nicht mehr zu kaufen. Ist mir u.a. zu pappig. Habe jetzt bei Zoopus eine Probepackung vom Orinje-TroFu gekauft. Das soll besser sein, habe ich hier gelesen u. es fühlt sich knochentrocken an u. nicht so fettig. Gut an kommt es bei meiner Nicky auch auf jeden Fall.
